While Allen is in Phoenix, we're dogsitting Radar. Marshall stood at the window and watched Radar for a long time after waking up from his nap.

This picture is from Friday afternoon. The weight limit on the jumperoo is 25lbs, so we might have to put it away soon.
 

We went to the doctor for Marshall's 9 month check-up today. Quote of the day from Dr. Gillispie is, "You look like a 1 year old!"

Last night we gave him more finger foods instead of baby food for dinner. He loved eating the green beans and cantaloupe.
 
 

Marshall randomly started waving bye-bye on Sunday (he waves backward, but don't all kids at first?). Today, after many attempts, I caught some waving action on video. He looks so surprised when he starts waving; it's hilarious!

We drove into the national park around mid-morning for a picnic and trip to the river. Matt dipped Marshall's toes in the very cold water, and he never flinched!

Matt found a giant leaf around the cabin this afternoon and promptly put it on Marshall's head!

On our first full day in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, we took Marshall to the aquarium. He really enjoyed watching all the fish!
