I'm back from Orlando! I spent the weekend with my friends Whitney and Tasha. On Saturday, we spent the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios (aka, MGM) and the Magic Kingdom. Once we arrived at DHS, we headed straight for the Toy Story ride. It's still a popular ride, so we knew the wait would be a little longer than with other rides. The line weaves around in a room that has a giant Mr. Potato Head singing and telling jokes, a Scrabble board for the ceiling, and many other toys and games.

After the Toy Story ride, we met a Green Army Man.


Whitney's boss works at the park, so she arranged a private meet and greet with...wait for it...The Power Rangers! It was so dorky, but we loved it! We went behind the "no guests allowed" fence, shook hands, and took a picture. The Red Ranger had to show us a "Power Ranger move" so we could pose for the picture. It was so nice of Whitney's boss to arrange everything...and the picture is pretty cool! :)

We had lunch at the 50s Prime Time Diner. It's supposed to be like your own home, so no elbows on the table, etc. It was here that Tasha and Whitney broke the news to me that it was my "birthday!" Our section sang happy birthday to me and everyone signed a card! The cupcake was yummy!

After a long day at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom, we finally had dinner at Chef Mickey's! Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, and Donald all came by the table to visit us.

Marshall has spent the past 2 days at home while battling a yucky virus. During a happy moment this morning, we played "ball" and rolled the squishy globe back and forth.
 
 
 
 

Matt and Dad worked extremely hard yesterday on the half bath. After they removed the vanity from the box, we brought it out into the family room. We thought Marshall would love it...not so much.
