Catching Up...

A few pictures from the last few days of March...

Emerson tried avocado for the first time on Sunday. She LOVES it! Sweet potato is still iffy on most nights, but she is gobbling up the avocado!



A lady that lives near Matt's grandparents in Kansas made this outfit for Emerson. She's too cute!



Marshall did not like this scenario one bit. He jumped up from his seat at the table, grabbed the lion, said, "my lion!" and kissed it all the way to his room where he threw it on the bed...out of Emerson's reach!!

Saturday Photo Shoot

The Park

We are fortunate to live within walking distance of 2 parks. Now that it's warmer outside (at least for a few days), Marshall is ALL ABOUT going to the park after dinner. Tonight Emerson and I went too. Emerson laughed and laughed in the swing. I've uploaded a video of her laughing. Marshall didn't want his swinging interrupted to take a picture, but I snapped a few anyway. :)

"Cheeseburger"

Marshall attempts to smile for pictures now because he wants to "say something" like cheese, etc. Usually Matt can get him to say "cheeseburger"...that's the first picture. In the picture with Matt, I have no clue what he was saying in an attempt to smile, and from the picture, you can tell it didn't work out as well as cheeseburger!
 
 

The Rat

For Marshall's first Christmas, Grams and Granddad bought him a stacking toy with soft rings. Each ring is a different animal. Last week, Emerson decided that the RAT was her favorite. She chews on the nose of this thing all the time. It's cute, but also a little strange!
 
 
 

Sitting Up Like a Big Girl!

We practiced sitting up some tonight. She did really well and would only fall over when she lunged for the singing puppy dog. Later, she jumped in the jumperoo, and of course, it's a little blurry because she never stays still in that thing unless she's asleep!
 
 
 
 

Happiness

Everyone has been pretty happy lately in our house, and these pictures prove it!
