Noah and Stuart couldn't find real paddles, but they figured it out. Jake and Harrison had the only set of "proper" paddles!

Friday night at Camp Schafer. We had a wonderful dinner and played a few games inside while it rained outside.

New windows!!! These are the windows that were installed in the family room. We opted for no grids so we'd have a clear view of the backyard. The new windows in the rest of the house have grids.

We're back in the family room...finally! Matt worked so hard to get everything finished this weekend! Along the way we had help from Dad, Allen, Mom, and Dan. Thanks! The new windows should be installed soon. We're hoping to find a corner TV cabinet instead of using the coffee table. We need pictures, etc, but at least we have our own place to sit now instead of both of us sitting in the chair each night!

YAY! Mom and I went to Babies R Us this morning and ordered the crib (thanks mom and dad!) and the changing table. The room is not even close to being ready, but this makes me happy!

It's a BOY! We're so excited! Here are two cute little profile pictures of our baby boy! He did not want to flip on his back...it took over 15 minutes to get these shots! The ultrasound tech said, "I think he's going to be a stomach sleeper!" We go back to the doctor on the 15th to discuss moving the due date!

Here are a few pictures from the Curious George party. In the second picture, he's carrying around 2 "George" DVDs that we bought for him. He was ready to "watch movie" instead of opening the rest of his presents...oops! :)

In order to get ready for the baby, we're trying to finish a few "larger" remodeling projects on our house. Right now we're in the middle of remodeling the family room, dining room, and eventual pantry area. The family room is the biggest transformation so far. The dirty carpet is gone. The giant brick wall is gone. Soon the brown wood trim will be gone. We're also painting the room a tan color. We liked the green, but tan will give us flexibility when we eventually have to buy new furniture. See the transformation below (...and remember, it's not finished).

YAY for Mom! At her yearly checkup on Thursday she got the official word that she was "cured" from her cancer! Dad threw her a surprise party to celebrate! We all had tons o' fun!

YAY! We made it to week 12 and everything is going very well. This picture is from our 7wks 2 days appointment in February, but that's all we have right now. We saw the heartbeat again today along with a cute little head, 2 arms, and the spine. One leg was tucked up under the baby, so technically we only saw one leg.
