Lexington Hearing and Speech Carnival

Marshall and Emerson's new daycare had a carnival today to celebrate the opening of the new building. It was HOT, but Marshall had fun running from game to game and winning prizes. He even went down the big, inflatable slide by himself! Emerson, on the other hand, was tolerant of the outing, but was never really happy (as evidenced by the only picture I managed to snap of her...).
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Life is getting in the way...

Instead of life, maybe it's work that's getting in the way, but whatever it is, there isn't much energy left to take pictures or to post them! I'm a slacker for sure! These pictures are from last weekend...
We do have a busy weekend planned, so hopefully I'll have some fun pictures to post on Sunday evening.
 
 
Emerson LOVES to crawl into the pantry and pull random things off of shelves. So far she hasn't smashed a toe, but we rearranged the shelves just to be sure it doesn't happen!

A Weekend in the OC

Last weekend, Matt had to work every day, so the kids and I packed up, hit the road, and spent the weekend with Grams & Granddad.
Marshall decided he wanted to hang out in the baby swing. It's a miracle it didn't break!

Fun in the cupboard!

Marshall used to crawl into the cupboard and just sit...then we had to fill it with cereal and pitchers, so he lost his space. Tonight, we left the door open on accident, and EK decided to pull everything out of the cupboard. She was having a blast, but of course, Marshall wanted in on the action, too. Play!

Matt and Marshall were at the garden this morning, so EK and I played in the front room. She loves her play house now that she can crawl through the door, and Marshall's mega blocks table is always fun to chew on!

Emerson is contstantly trying to bite everyone's toes! Marshall was a good sport (for once) last Saturday and let her try to gnaw on his toes!

Fourth of July Celebration
