Marshall and Uncle Allen
Yummy!
Dad put childproof latches on all the cabinet doors this week. Marshall decided to play in the drawers since he couldn't get any of the doors open!

We spent the morning with Karen, Cooper, and baby Jake. I think Cooper was glad Marshall could walk around a play with him some this year. Last Christmas, when Marshall was just 2.5 months old, Cooper kept saying, "Can he play now?" :)

Matt cleaned out the tall cabinet today because Cheerios had been spilled. Marshall decided it was a good place to play!
We've been working on using a spoon (sort of...daycare is working on it harder than we are). This morning, he started off really well with the yogurt, but eventually gave up and started using his hands. I love the last picture where you can see the spoon stuck to his bib!

Marshall LOVES this "O Little Town of Bethlehem" book. It lights up and plays music. I think Karen bought it for him last year, and I found it on the shelf a few weeks ago as we were looking for a new book to read. He "reads" it every day!
Marshall loves to be tickled!
serious face...He wouldn't smile at all!

As we walked by the play house this afternoon on our way into the house, Marshall tried to wiggle out of my arms. I put him down and he immediately opened the door to the play house and walked inside. He played and played! It's really the first time he has noticed the play house on his own, so it was cute to see him so excited to play inside. Maybe next time he'll choose a warmer afternoon to decide he wants to play!

Marshall and I played in the front living room yesterday while we waited for Matt to get home from work. Marshall loves to stand at the front door and growl at all the dogs he sees!
