A few pictures from our Halloween.

I pulled the play mat out yesterday to see if Emerson would like it (since nothing else was making her happy). This morning, she decided it was an okay place to play for a few minutes.
 

Rockin' the Georgetown College socks (Go Tigers!). Halloween is the one time during the year that GC's orange and black will actually match something in Emerson's closet!
 

I've seen A LOT of this since Thursday.

Matt went to Marshall's Halloween party on Friday. Well, it wasn't much of a party (obviously, since the only picture we have is of Marshall washing his hands!). They ate snack and listened to the Monster Mash...that's it! Matt said Marshall was the only one that went for the grapes and apples instead of cheese puffs...our boy loves fruit!
 

Marshall's daycare went trick-or-treating at Cardinal Hill Hospital today. It wasn't as easy to take pictures as last year since he was holding my hand (or rolling on the floor) instead of riding in the little wagon. :) A kind mom (that was probably taking pity on my inability to wrestle Marshall) offered to take a picture of us together. Thankfully, it turned out well. Eventually, we just gave up and went back to his room to work puzzles until the rest of the class returned!
 
 
 

I took Emerson to see Dr. Waddles today for her 2 week check-up. Dr. Waddles declared her "perfect!" I think we already knew that! She now weighs 8lbs 15 oz! That's +13 oz in 2 weeks! She'll be wearing those 0-3 month clothes in no time. Before we went to the doctor, I tried to take a picture of Emerson wearing the adorable sweater that a sweet lady my dad works with made for her. I took a zillion pictures and every last one was blurry except this one! I'll have to try again on another day for a better picture.

We gave Emerson her first real bath Sunday evening. She wasn't a fan!

Emerson is 1 week old today! She celebrated by staying awake after each feeding and deciding that she liked to cry. We even wrangled Marshall into taking 1 picture with her!
