Emerson

 

On etsy, a month or so ago, I saw a listing for a toddler/baby scarf and hat set. Dad asked the lady that made sweaters for both Marshall and Emerson if that was something she could do. She delivered!! Emerson is stylin' in her beautiful scarf and hat. I know the picture is blurry, but I still wanted to post. I'll work on capturing a better picture soon!
 

Christmas Morning

Emerson's first Christmas has come and gone, and we have like 5 pictures of her from that morning. Considering I felt the yuckiest on Christmas morning, it's a wonder I have any decent pictures to post! Marshall had a great time ripping into presents and immediately encouraging Matt or my dad to open the boxes. It took a LONG time to open the few presents Santa brought for him because he wanted to play with each and every one.

Christmas Eve @ Great-Granny's

We spent Christmas Eve night with my dad's family. I felt so horrible that pictures are almost non-existent. Mom did take a family picture before we left, so there's at least one floating around of Emerson all dressed up. By this time of the night though, she was asleep in the back bedroom.
 
 
 
 

Fire Truck Bed

My dad made this super cool fire truck bed for Marshall so he wouldn't have to sleep on the air matress during visits. Marshall LOVES it!

Christmas-y Baby

Matt's cousin, Megan, made an adorable Christmas tree hair clip for Emerson. I tried it with the white and brown headbands. I can't decide which I like better, but it's adorable either way. The "Kiss Me" shirt is one of Marshall's.
 
 

Before Presents

My very dear friend, Karen, and her two boys, Cooper and Jake, came over today to exchange presents and play with Marshall. Marshall loves Cooper. He stood at the door saying, "Hurry up, Cooper" off and on all morning. The boys had a blast. Emerson is outnumbered, but I know she'll have so much fun next year chasing after the boys.
